Dr. Ishan Mishra brings over a decade of focused expertise in rheumatology to patients across Lucknow and Varanasi, offering internationally trained specialist care close to home.
His two-year fellowship at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi under Prof. A.N. Malaviya — widely regarded as the Father of Indian Rheumatology and former HOD at AIIMS — gave him a rigorous foundation in diagnosing and managing the full spectrum of rheumatic diseases. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR) and holds a Diploma in Allergy & Asthma from CMC Vellore.
Prior to his current roles, Dr. Mishra served as Consultant Rheumatologist at PSRI Hospital, New Delhi and as Senior Resident at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College, Rohini, New Delhi. He has trained additionally in diabetes management through the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
A committed academic, he served as Organising Secretary of the Rheumatology Conclave 2024 in Varanasi — the first rheumatology academic event in the city featuring national speakers — and as Faculty (Abstract & Oral Paper Judge) at IRACON 2024. He has published research in the Journal of Association of Physicians of India and presented at national conferences including SOARCON and RSSDI.
